Starting on 21 April 2011, for the first time the Dutch airline transavia.com will offer direct flights from Vienna to Rotterdam. Four times a week, the low cost carrier will fly a Boeing 737-700 to Holland?s second largest city. The Dutch airline leaves Vienna on Tuesdays at 2.50 p.m. On Thursdays and Sundays the plane leaves the Austrian capital for Rotterdam at 9 p.m. On Fridays take-off from Vienna is at 1.55 p.m. The return flight from Rotterdam to Vienna takes off at 12.20 p.m. on Tuesdays, at 6.30 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays and at 11.25 a.m. on Fridays. The flying time is just under two hours.
