Vienna Airport: Alitalia launches new connection to Milano Linate
With the start of its winter timetable on 28 October 2013, the Italian airline Alitalia introduced a new service between Vienna and Milano Linate Airport. At a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the first flight, Marco Martinasso, Alitalia Country Manager for Germany/Austria, and Nikolaus Gretzmacher, Flughafen Wien AG's Head of Operations, welcomed the new direct flight between Vienna and the Italian metropolis.
Alitalia will serve the route with an Embraer E-175, flying twice a day on working days, and once on Saturday and Sunday. Together with the existing connection to Rome, this means that Alitalia now serves two destinations directly from Vienna.
The schedule in detail:
Vienna - Milano Linate Airport: Monday to Saturday 9.20 - 10.45 hrs.
Vienna - Milano Linate Airport: Monday to Friday and Sunday 7.05 - 20.30 hrs.
Milano Linate Airport - Vienna: Monday to Saturday 7.00 - 8.30 hrs.
Milano Linate Airport - Vienna: Monday to Friday and Sunday 16.55 - 18.25 hrs.
