For Travelers with a Passion for Football: Vienna Airport Offers Public Viewing in Terminal Areas and Airport Restaurants
Effective immediately, passengers at Vienna Airport will not have to miss a single important soccer match during the 2014 FIFA World Cup from June 12 July 13, 2014. The TV broadcasts can be watched at no cost at four public viewing zones at the gates and baggage claim as well as in 14 restaurants at the airport. In this way an exciting football atmosphere at the airport is ensured.
Public viewing zones in the terminal areas
The public viewing zones are located by gates F01, G04 and G21 as well as in by baggage claim carousel No. 10. The matches will also be shown on large monitors and can be followed live in the following restaurants: Take Off (Check-in 1), The Dubliner and Zugvogel (Check-in 2), dailyroast (Check-in 2 B-Gates), Rustichelli Mangione (Check-in 2 D-Gates), Air Café and Wiener Gold (Check-in 3 departure level), Meinl Food Court (Check-in 3 F-Gates), Demel, Kulinariat and Sky Wine Lounge (Check-in 3 G-Gates) as well as in Johanns Biereck, Café Admiral and on a large screen in Caffè Ritazza (all in the arrival hall).
