New at Vienna Airport: Jet2.com Offers Flight Service to Edinburgh
Effective immediately, Jet2.com is launching flight service from Vienna to Edinburgh. Starting today, April 29, 2016, the British airline will connect Vienna with the Scottish capital twice a week. Today the first Jet2.com aircraft from Edinburgh landed in Vienna.
“We are very pleased that we are now able to connect Edinburgh and thus Scotland with Vienna in cooperation with Jet2.com. In particular, we expect added impetus for tourism at both locations”, says Julian Jäger, Member of the Management Board of Flughafen Wien AG.
Steve Heapy, Chief Executive of Jet2.com said: "We're pleased to be starting our new route between Vienna and Edinburgh today. Our famous low fares will be welcomed by Austrian-based business and leisure customers who appreciate the choice and frequency of our new schedule."
A Boeing 737 aircraft will arrive in Vienna at 5:50 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays and depart at 6:30 p.m. for the return flight to Edinburgh.
