166 destinations to choose from in the winter flight schedule 2024/2025: New airlines and destinations as well as frequency
increases at Vienna Airport
The new winter flight schedule will soon take effect at Vienna Airport. Travelers have a wide range of popular sunny and city destinations as well as snow-covered winter destinations to choose from. Austrian Airlines is flying to 86 destinations, including seasonal flight service to Mauritius and the Maldives and newly to Ivalo in Finland. Ryanair serves 56 destinations, such as Dubrovnik, Tirana and Malaga, and is increasing numerous frequencies. 23 destinations can be reached from Vienna with Wizz Air, which is resuming flight service to Cluj and Chisinau. Starting in December, Air Arabia will once again operate flights on the Vienna-Sharjah route, and the Greek airline Sky Express will inaugurate flight service linking Vienna and Athens. The 2024/25 winter flight schedule is valid from 29 October 2024 to 31 March 2025.
“Following a record-breaking summer, the winter flight schedule will once again take off with a broad selection of destinations, encompassing snowy adventures in Northern Europe or a sunny timeout in a far-away destination. With 166 destinations this time around, no travel wishes will remain unfulfilled. Travellers can expect to enjoy a comfortable stay at Vienna Airport. The vacation for travellers already starts at the airport, featuring a broad spectrum of services for departure, short waiting times at the security checkpoints as well as new and modern shops, restaurants, and high-quality lounges,” explains Julian Jäger, Member of the Joint CEO and COO of Vienna Airport
