November 2025 Traffic Results: 3,177,617 passengers handled by the Flughafen Wien Group (+8.2%) and 2,396,644 passengers at Vienna Airport (+5.8%)

The Flughafen Wien Group registered passenger growth in November 2025. Total passenger volume in the entire Group (Vienna Airport, Malta Airport and Kosice Airport) rose 8.2% year-on-year to 3,177,617 travellers. Passenger traffic at Vienna Airport climbed 5.8% to 2,396,644 travellers. This means that Vienna Airport recorded its busiest November in history in terms of passenger numbers.
The number of local passengers at Vienna Airport climbed 6.5% compared to November 2024 to 1,970,413 travellers, whereas transfer passenger traffic rose slightly by 0.1% from the previous year to 408,184 travellers. The number of flight movements in November 2025 increased to 18,099 take offs and landings (+4.7%). Cargo volume totalled 27,313 tonnes, comprising an increase of 0.7% from the prior-year month.
Details on passenger traffic
In November 2025, passenger traffic from Vienna Airport to Western Europe rose 4.6% from the previous year to 789,128 passengers. The number of passengers flying to Eastern Europe in November 2025 amounted to 174,285 travellers (+0.4%). Vienna Airport reported a total of 29,955 passengers flying to North America (+7.6%), and 32,768 travellers to Africa (+7.1%). Passenger traffic to destinations in the Middle East were up 29.4% to 73,608 travellers in November 2025. The airport registered strong passenger growth to the Far East, with passenger traffic climbing by 9.7% to 51,981 passengers.
The strategic investments of Flughafen Wien AG also continued to develop very well. Passenger volume at Malta Airport showed a rise of 16.5% to 734,791 travellers in the month of November 2025. Kosice Airport handled a total of 46,182 passengers, which represents an increase of 13.5% from the prior-year month.
Accumulated passenger volumes from January to November 2025: +2.4% at Vienna Airport and +4.6% in the Flughafen Wien Group
The total number of passengers handled by Vienna Airport in the period January to November 2025 increased by 2.4% from the previous year to the accumulated figure of 30,033,717 passengers. Total cargo volume in the period January-November 2025 equalled 289,049 tonnes, comprising a rise of 5.9% from the prior-year level. Passenger volume in the entire Flughafen Wien Group (Vienna Airport, Malta Airport and Kosice Airport) in this ten-month period was up 4.6% to 40,151,998 travellers.
