Vienna Airport welcomes new airline: FlyOne Armenia launches direct flights to Yerevan from April 2026

Expanded connectivity from Vienna to the Caucasus: From 3 April 2026, FlyOne Armenia will operate regular direct flights between Vienna and the Armenian capital Yerevan, marking the airline’s first entry into the Austrian market. Services will be operated with an Airbus A320. From June 2026, frequencies will increase to three flights per week. Armenia is regarded as an emerging travel destination, offering UNESCO World Heritage sites, striking natural scenery and a vibrant culinary scene.

“We are pleased to welcome FlyOne Armenia as a new airline partner at Vienna Airport. Additional direct services increase choice and flexibility for travellers and open up new opportunities for travel to this emerging tourist region. This is exactly the type of network expansion that strengthens point-to-point traffic from Vienna. We look forward to working with FlyOne Armenia,” said Julian Jäger, joint CEO and COO of Vienna Airport.

“We are happy to launch Yerevan–Vienna flights and mark Flyone Armenia’s first appearance in the Austrian market. Vienna is a destination with significant potential, and we believe this route will have a strong impact on our passenger traffic while contributing to tourism development between Armenia and Austria. This launch represents an important milestone in expanding our network, and we are pleased to offer our passengers such an exciting new destination,” said Aram Khachatryan, CEO, Accountable Manager of Flyone Armenia.

Non-stop from Vienna to Yerevan with FlyOne Armenia
FlyOne Armenia will launch the route on 3 April 2026 with one weekly service and will gradually expand operations. From 3 June 2026, the route will be served three times per week. Departures from Yerevan are scheduled at 15:40, arriving in Vienna at 17:30. Return flights depart Vienna at 18:30, landing in Yerevan at 23:50. Services will be operated with a modern Airbus A320. Via Yerevan, passengers can connect to further destinations within the FlyOne network.

Yerevan – a fascinating gateway between Europe and Asia
With the new direct service, Yerevan will become even more easily accessible from Vienna. One of the oldest cities in the world and the capital of Armenia, Yerevan impresses visitors with landmarks such as Republic Square, the monumental Cascade complex and a lively arts and cultural scene. Beyond the city, the Caucasus region offers dramatic landscapes, mountain ranges, high plateaus and centuries-old monasteries — ideal for cultural trips, nature experiences and culinary discovery.
