New airline at Vienna Airport: FlyOne Armenia now links Vienna and Yerevan

A premiere has taken place at Vienna Airport. Today, 3 April 2026, FlyOne Armenia officially launched flight service to Austria. The airline connects Vienna and the Armenian capital city of Yerevan, thus expanding the offering of new travel options in the Caucasus Region at the Vienna flight hub. Armenia is seen as an aspiring travel destination with UNESCO World Heritage Sites, impressive natural scenery and a lively culinary scene. Starting in June 2026, the flight connection will be expanded to three weekly flights. The airline is deploying a modern Airbus A320 on the Vienna-Yerevan route.

“Welcome to Vienna, FlyOne Armenia! We are extremely pleased with the airline’s decision to operate flights to Vienna. This comprises a strong signal underlining the attractiveness of our airport. In turn, it means an even greater choice of flights for passengers and additional travel options to an exciting region. With FlyOne’s route expansion from the summer season, a total of 10 weekly connections between Vienna and Yerevan will be available.  The new flight connection also strengthens incoming tourism from Armenia and creates added impetus for business trips,” explains Julian Jäger, Joint CEO and COO of Vienna Airport.

“We are very pleased that Vienna has become part of our route network. We are confident that this destination will be in high demand, creating new opportunities for tourism and travel, as well as for our compatriots and transit passengers traveling to Europe,” said Aram Khachatryan, CEO of FlyOne Armenia.

FlyOne Armenia offers non-stop flights from Vienna to Yerevan
FlyOne Armenia will serve the Vienna-Yerevan route effective immediately by operating one weekly flight. Flight service will be expanded to three flights per week as of 3 June 2026. The aircraft takes off at 3:40 p.m. local time in Yerevan and arrives in Vienna at 5:30 p.m. The return flight leaves Vienna at 6:30 p.m. and lands in Yerevan at 11:50 p.m. The airline operates a modern Airbus A320 on this route. Other exciting travel destinations can be reached from Yerevan within the FlyOne network.

Yerevan – fascinating interface between Europe and Asia
The new direct flight connection means that Yerevan, one of the most exciting cities in the entire Caucasus, can be reached more easily from Vienna. The Armenian capital, one of the oldest cities in the world, fascinates visitors with sights such as the Republic Square, the monumental Cascade Complex and a lively artistic and cultural scene. Outside of the city, the Caucasus offers magnificent landscapes featuring mountain ranges, plateaus and centuries-old monasteries. It is an ideal starting point for cultural journeys, experiencing nature and enjoyable discoveries.
