Training

Hazardous goods training

Compliance with dangerous goods regulations requires proper training

Ensuring that hidden dangers and undeclared dangerous goods are never loaded on board an aircraft is one of the most important goals of any dangerous goods training programme.

By establishing and effectively using standards in the aviation industry for documentation, handling and training, IATA and national authorities have created a high standard of safety in the transportation of dangerous goods by air.

However, the successful application of these regulations in the transport of dangerous goods by air depends heavily on the readiness of each individual This can only be implemented if each of the people involved has a detailed understanding of the legal requirements and the risks associated with the transport. For this, the right training is essential.

Depending on an employee's job function, their dangerous goods training is divided into one of 12 personnel categories according to their responsibility.

Our IATA certified Dangerous Goods Trainers offer beginner as well as refresher courses for the following categories according to IATA DGR Section 1.5.
