Information about changes to your eZÜP application
On 27.02.2024, the "Pre-check" function of the ZÜP application was activated by the Austrian Ministry of Transport.
Users were or will be informed by a one-off pop-up window the first time they access the ZÜP application.
What impact does this have on the day-to-day work with the ZÜP application?
Once an e-ZÜP application has been submitted for a person, it is necessary to regularly check whether the preliminary check has been successfully completed and the background check has been started.
What should I do if a person's status is shown as "Rejected" in the ZÜP application list?
Step 1: In the USP portal Regarding ZÜP application: First, the clearance release of the person concerned (Personenfreigabe) to the airport must be withdrawn. Second, click on the magnifying glass next to the person you have to edit (Bearbeiten), correct any incorrect information, save the changes and share the person for Vienna Airport again.
Step 2: In the ABV portal: Select "Apply for ID card for existing person", check the data and apply for the airport ID card again, click on "Submit" and confirm with the TAN.
