City Airport Train (CAT) – temporarily operating with premium coaches

The fastest connection from Vienna Airport straight into the city centre – non-stop to and from Wien-Mitte up to 5 times an hour in each direction!

Tickets for the City Airport Train can be purchased online, at the ticket counter in the arrivals hall or from a ticket machine.

A non-stop journey to Vienna city centre in 21 minutes

Every 12* minutes, the CAT takes passengers non-stop from Vienna Airport to the Wien Mitte transport hub – stress-free and comfortable, with no stops on the way to Vienna city centre (Wien Mitte/Landstraße, located on the U3/U4 lines).

*between 7 am and 7 pm; otherwise every 15 minutes

Close to the city centre

The City Airport Train runs daily between 05:30 and 23:37. The bus stop is located just a 10-minute walk from St Stephen’s Cathedral at the Wien Mitte transport hub and is easily accessible by tram, underground, bus and taxi.
