Vienna Airport – Directions – General Information

Here you will find directions from the taxi rank/drop-off and pick-up points, as well as from the ÖBB and CAT train platforms to the two mobility service counters and vice versa.

Mobility service desk:

Ideally, you should register for mobility services directly with the airline when booking your flight.

If you need assistance at short notice, you can request it around the clock at our mobility service desks.

Locations:

  • Terminal 3 – Departures area (Level 1)
  • Terminal 3 – Arrivals area (Level 0)

Both counters are located directly next to the Airport Services counter.

Facilities & accessibility:

  • Connection to the tactile floor information system
  • Wheelchair-accessible desk
  • Sign language video and information panel with tactile writing and instructions on how to request assistance
  • Intercom and telephone for direct connection to the PRM control center

Overview:

The ÖBB and CAT platforms are located on level U2, i.e., two floors below street level.

A mezzanine level with continuous tactile floor information leading to the mobility service counter on level 0, the arrivals level, is located on level U1, one floor below street level. From here, there is access to the ÖBB central platform tracks 1 and 2, as well as to the side platform track 3 for CAT and ÖBB. A second mezzanine level, without continuous tactile floor information to the mobility service counter on level 0, the arrivals level, is also located on level U1, i.e. one floor below street level. The arrivals hall is located on level 0, i.e. at street level. One of two mobility service counters is located on this level.

The taxi stands and bus platforms for Vienna Airport buses and regional bus lines are also located on this level. There are no directions to the bus stops, as changing stops for the various lines make it impossible to provide barrier-free guidance suitable for blind or visually impaired persons.

The departure hall, Terminal 3, is located on level E1, i.e., one floor above street level. The second mobility service counter is located on this level.

The parking spaces for people with disabilities are also located on this level. Here, it is possible to get out of a taxi (important note for taxi drivers: at Terminal 3, upper parking level, immediately after the police and fire department parking area, stop at the parking spaces for people with disabilities!).
